Spectator Info at Drifting SA
Whether you’re tagging along with a mate, keen for a ride in a drift car, or just love the atmosphere of a grassroots motorsport event – welcome! Here’s everything you need to know about coming to watch a Drifting SA event as a spectator or passenger at The Bend or Mallala Motorsport Park.
What to Expect
Great Trackside Viewing
We host regular events throughout the year, ranging from relaxed practice days to exhilarating competition rounds that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Free parking is available at every event, and there are plenty of trackside viewing spots for an up-close experience.
Online Spectator Tickets
As a volunteer-run, not-for-profit club, all ticket proceeds go directly into supporting our event operations. Spectator tickets can be pre-purchased online, typically 4 weeks before each event.
Opportunities to Ride as Passenger
Our events also allow passengers! If you don’t know a driver to take you out, you can book a Pro Ride with one of our experienced drivers at our competition rounds. For more information, check out the Pro Rides page.
FAQ
What should I bring?
You can watch in many different areas but if you’d like to bring a gazebo / camp chairs, you’re welcome to.
You’re also welcome to bring your own food but we have canteen/food truck facilities at major events.
Is it family friendly?
Absolutely – bring the little ones! Kids are welcome – we do recommend bringing ear protection, it’s LOUD!
Unfortunately no pets are allowed at the track.
Can I buy merch at your events?
Merch is available at all of our major events. Support the club and look good doing it. We’ve got a range of Drifting SA gear available only at events, including t-shirts, hoodies, stickers and hats. We also stock the Glitter Gang Drift Ladies merch.
