Learn 2 Drift Sessions

Check out our Learn 2 Drift sessions with a suppled drift car and your own personal instructor!
These sessions, offered during our Drift School events at The Bend or Mallala Motorsport Park on the wet skidpan, are a perfect intro for anyone curious about drifting but not ready to commit to their own car yet.

We currently have two Nissan V35 Skylines – an auto and a manual. These sessions are strictly limited and sell out quickly!

What’s Included

Each Learn 2 Drift session gives you a taste of getting into the driver’s seat with:

30 minute’s in a supplied drift car on a wet skidpan

1-on-1 instruction with an experienced Drifting SA coach

Practice drills like donut drifting around a cone and figure 8s

Helmet provided

Event entry opens approx. 1 month before each session and is on a first come, first served basis. We can’t hold spots due to high demand.

Requirements to Book

To drive, you must:

– Already know how to drive a car
– Be at least 14 years old. Under 18’s may only drive if you contact us for prior approval and agree to bring a guardian on the day.
– Wear long sleeves, long pants and enclosed shoes
– Purchase a RACERS Clubman Licence ($50 for a day licence)

FAQ

Can I book more than 30 minutes or hire the car all day?

We don’t offer this. Drifting puts high stress on the cars, so we only offer short sessions to keep them in top shape. This is designed as a taster – most people go on to get their own drift car after!

Can I Buy A Gift Voucher?

We often get asked about gift vouchers or early bookings — but to keep things fair, we can’t offer them unfortunately.

Spots are very limited and released at a set time before each event. As a volunteer-run organisation, we’re unable to hold spots or guarantee future availability.

We know it’s disappointing, but with the number of requests we get, this is the fairest way to give everyone a chance.
