Refunds, Transfers & Credits

Driver Entry or Membership Fee Refund Policy:

As a volunteer-run organisation, we hope you understand that we’re unable to offer refunds due to the administrative time and costs involved in processing them.

However, we’re more than happy to offer credits for future events – these are linked to your registered email and don’t expire. We simply ask that you notify us in before the day of the event if you’re unable to attend, so we can offer your spot to someone else and avoid unnecessary confusion or follow-up on the day.

Important: Credits can only be issued if you email us before the event at events@driftingsa.com.au
Cancellations via social media, text, or word of mouth will not be accepted.

Please also note that entries cannot be transferred to another participant. Our events often sell out, and we follow a fair waitlist process to ensure spots go to the next eligible driver. If a registered participant chooses to cancel their entry, the next person on the waitlist will be notified and offered the opportunity to take the spot.
Please note: Membership purchases are non‑refundable.

How to Use Your Credit:

Log in: Login to our events portal using the exact same email address you used for the cancelled event.
Find your credit: You will immediately see a floating button on the screen showing your remaining credit balance.
Register: Select the new event entry and fill in required details, clicking Next until you reach the “Review and Pay” screen.
Do not use your card: DO NOT click “Pay Online” or enter a credit/debit card yet.
Generate the invoice: Click the Invoice option instead. (Note: If the invoice doesn’t generate right away, refresh the page, or go to the “Invoices and Payments” tab in your profile profile).
Apply the credit: Click the floating button on the right side of the screen that says “Balance: Credit or Overpayment”. This will automatically apply your credit to the invoice.

If the credit covers the full amount, you’re all set! If there’s a remaining balance, you’ll be prompted to pay just the difference.

Once applied, your registration will be processed and you’ll receive a confirmation email (check your junk mail) – you’re good to go!

Season Membership Terms – Additional Conditions:

If you are a Season Member, please be aware of the following additional terms:
Season Membership requires attendance at all SA State Series rounds to remain valid.
If you do not attend a round, your Season Membership will be forfeited, and you’ll be reverted to standard Driver Membership.
In order to maintain your Season Membership you are not eligible for a credit or transfer of your competiton entry fee should you enter but not attend, as doing so would go against the attendance requirement of the Season Membership.
