Drift Dayz

DRIFT DAYZ – ADELAIDE is just that! A fun filled open track drift day with a HEAP of track time using different track layouts to appeal to a variety of styles including speed and technical. Plus some Drift Games including the Table Game and a Mini Knock Out Comp at the end of the day, with some fun trophies and prizes for the winners.

DRIFT DAYZ will be held at Adelaide International Raceway on Saturday 24th February. For the Open Track Sessions we will run both ends of the track at the same time. So entrants will have both ends of the track to use during each session. The whole track will be set up so that entrants can go from one track to the other with transitional stages in between. This way the track will flow quickly.

DRIFT DAYZ is designed to be a day for drifters run by drifters. It will be fun, flowing with plenty of track time. Runs will be in singles, tandems or groups (it’s up to you!).

There will be strictly limited spots so it is important to pre enter.
Entry is $100 and entry on the day will be $125. The track will be open from 9am-4pm.

Adults $15 pre paid or $20 at the gate.

THE TABLE GAME (PARKING GAME)
Start near the end of the AIR bowl. Take off and drive toward the burnout pad. Flick your car sideways and pull it up using your brakes and handbrake to stop the closest to our highly sophisticated plastic table. Closest to the table wins (measured from front door handle). Touch the table for a perfect score, move the table and you’re out. Each entrant will have 2 attempts at the game. Tie-breaker will be sudden death shootout. Fun trophy and Prizes for the winner!
GAME ON!

MINI COMP
This knock out comp will be held on a tight technical course that incorporates the AIR Burnout pad, so competitors will be up close to the crowd.
There will be a practice/qualifying session followed by elimination battles.
This is designed to be a fun mini comp and give a chance to battle, so the runs will be quick and fun with back to back runs. We will run straight through to the final battle in one session.
Fun trophies and prizes for the finalists!

Passengers will be allowed all day including in the Open Track Sessions, the Table Game and the Mini Comp. Cars taking passengers must have roll-over cages & passengers are required to wear a long sleeved shirt, long pants and helmet. All clothing must be cotton or wool. Passenger Passes are $30. Passengers must be 13YO and above. Passengers under 18YO will need a parent or guardian to sign an indemnity on the day.

Cars will have a basic safety check prior to commencing on track activities.
