SATURDAY 17TH JULY DRIFT SCHOOL + SKIDPAN DAY + MINI COMP

This is a single day event taking place on the Skidpan at The Bend Motorsport Park. In the morning we will have the Drift School and Drift Car Rental sessions from 9am until 11:30am where Drivers can choose between 3 different tracks. From 12-1pm Drift school drivers will be able to drive the full track, with tuition if requested.

DRIFT CAR RENTAL (ENTER HERE)
For those who want to try out Drifting but don’t have the car to do so, Drifting SA can supply you with your own Drift car and a personal teacher for 30 minutes on the Skidpan.
What you get: 30 mins in a Nissan V35 Skyline (automatic transmission) setup for drifting on a wet skidpan on both the beginner and intermediate course. All costs are included except for licensing which can be sorted on the day for $30. A helmet is provided however please just bring long sleeve cotton shirt/jumper and long pants that cover your ankles, as well as enclosed footwear.

DRIFT SCHOOL – SOLD OUT
Our “bring your own car” Drift School is run on the skidpan where we will be offering individual tuition from 9am to 1pm with courses ranging from donuts, figure of 8’s for beginners to a more advanced course where drivers can practice entries and tandems. Please note that students for the BYO Car Drift School are required to bring their own car to use and learn in. If you do not have you own car you will need to enter as a “Drift Car Rental” Driver.
What you get: Tuition from 9am to 11.30pm on which ever of the 3 school courses you choose on the Skidpan. 1 Hour of Full Track running with Tuition (if requested)

SKIDPAN ONLY – SOLD OUT
For Intermediate and Advanced drivers who just want to run the Skidpan without the school, it will be available in the “Meihan Replica” Layout from 1-4pm for Skidpan Only drivers. Beginner drivers must enter Drift School instead.
What you get: 3 Hours of shared track time on the Skidpan from 1-4pm

MINI COMP – SOLD OUT
Fun competition to finish the day for Experienced drivers only, criteria will be low/zero contact, clean driving, harsh on mistakes, in contrast to our State Series that pushes drivers really hard, we are hoping to have a much more relaxed competition where drivers can compete in a safer environment without as much concern about damage to their cars. Competition will use fast, simple format.

FAQs:

Does my car need a rollcage to compete or to have a passenger?
– No. There is no requirement for a rollcage for this event in any class or on-track scenario, however, if you don’t run a cage, you must have OEM side intrusion beams fitted as a minimum.

What do I need to enter?
– Racers Clubman Licence (single event permit available on the day for $30). Click Here to purchase either a Single Event or Annual License online

REFUND POLICY:

All entries made before 5 days out from the Event are entitled to a full transfer of their entry fee to another Drifting SA event if they notify before the event on the day. Entries after are non-transferable/non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or postponed by Drifting SA.
